Online Nutrition Coach and Personalised Nutrition Support

Nutrition advice online can feel overwhelming. One person says cut carbohydrates, another says you have to count every calorie, whilst someone else claims a single food will “fix” all of your problems.

My approach to nutrition coaching is much simpler.

As an online nutrition coach, my goal is to help you build a way of eating that supports your health, training, and lifestyle, all without rigid rules or extreme restrictions.

This is personalised nutrition coaching built around real life. It’s flexible, evidence-based and focused on habits that actually last.

What nutrition coaching with me actually means

Nutrition coaching isn’t about handing you a strict meal plan and expecting you to follow it perfectly.

Instead, it’s about helping you understand how food fits into your life so that healthy eating becomes something sustainable rather than something you constantly have to “restart”.

Working with an online nutrition coach should bring clarity, not more confusion.

That means:
No rigid meal plans that fall apart the moment life gets busy

No extreme restriction or cutting out entire food groups
No guilt around normal eating
No unrealistic expectations about perfection

Instead, we focus on building practical habits that support your goals.
Nutrition coaching support is collaborative. We work together to understand your current eating patterns, your lifestyle and what changes will realistically work for you. The aim isn’t short-term dieting, it’s long-term consistency.

A big part of coaching is also removing guesswork. There’s a huge amount of misinformation in the nutrition world and it’s easy to feel like you’re constantly doing something “wrong”.

My role as a nutrition consultant is to help you cut through that noise and focus on what actually matters.

How coaching works

Coaching is structured, but never rigid. Here’s what the process looks like:

Initial Consultation

1.png

We begin with a detailed consultation to understand your goals, current eating habits, lifestyle and training. This helps us build a clear picture before making any recommendations.

Regular Check-Ins

Personalised Plan

Your nutrition strategy is tailored to you. We consider your lifestyle, preferences, training and schedule to create a realistic approach you can actually sustain.

Ongoing Support

Regular check-ins allow us to review progress, troubleshoot challenges and adjust your strategy as your needs evolve.

You’ll have ongoing access for questions, feedback and guidance, helping you build confidence and independence with your nutrition over time.

The aim is simple: remove guesswork and give you structure you can actually stick to.

Tools and support you receive

Alongside guidance and coaching conversations, you’ll also have access to tools that support progress and learning.

These may include:

Coaching App Support

A structured platform for communication, check-ins and progress tracking.

Nutrition Tracking Guidance

Tracking can sometimes be useful for learning and awareness, but it’s always optional and used thoughtfully.

Recipe and Meal Inspiration

Practical meal ideas to help make daily eating simpler.

Progress Monitoring

We track progress using a range of markers such as energy levels, training performance, consistency and overall wellbeing.

Direct Support

You can ask questions, discuss challenges and get feedback as they arise.

Who nutrition coaching is for

Nutrition coaching can support a wide range of goals, but it’s particularly helpful for people who want a sustainable approach to eating. This coaching is a good fit if you are:

Struggling to stay consistent with healthy habits

Wanting to improve energy, performance or recovery

Feeling overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice

Looking to build a healthier relationship with food

You don’t need to already have everything “figured out” before starting.

In fact, most people come to nutrition coaching precisely because they want clarity.

Education, not just coaching

Coaching doesn’t stop at programmes.

I believe people deserve to understand their bodies, their training and their nutrition, not just follow instructions blindly. That’s why education is a core part of how I work.

I also host the How To: Fitness podcast, where I break down common myths, explore the evidence behind popular fitness trends and have honest conversations about our health (without the hype).

Real experiences from people who’ve built sustainable progress through structured, evidence-driven coaching.

“I can't recommend Michael Ulloa enough! He was such a great trainer to work with, even on my crummiest days he'd get me laughing and being more kind to myself. I learned a tremendous amount from him over the 8 months we worked together, both about exercise and nutrition (protein!). His integrative app was easy to work with, and his take on the diet industry is next level. Count yourself lucky if you are able to work with him!; professional, patient, genuine.”

Kim C

“I worked with Michael during six months and cannot recommend him enough. He provided me with so much knowledge, content and nutrition advice, always working together on my goals and setting a enjoyable variety of work outs, with regular calls every week. I would definitely work with Michael again!”

Ismael, C

"A maverick in the fitness world, Michael’s personalised approach adapts to your unique needs, pushing you to surpass limits you never knew existed. He’s exactly what I needed at a very difficult time in my life. Infectious enthusiasm, total confidentiality and unwavering support, Michael’s knowledge transforms not just bodies, but lives. With a perfect blend of science-backed methods and intuitive understanding, he redefined what was possible for me. He’s more than a trainer and I cannot recommend him enough."
