How To: Fitness Podcast

A fitness and nutrition podcast focused on cutting through the noise and helping people make more informed decisions about their health.

If you would like to hear more about my values and ethos relating to both exercise and nutrition, the How To: Fitness podcast is a good place to start.

In each episode, we explore common questions, myths and trends in the fitness world… always through an evidence-based and practical lens. The aim isn’t to overwhelm listeners with complicated science, but to help people better understand how exercise and nutrition actually work in real life.

Why this podcast exists

The fitness industry is full of strong opinions, conflicting advice and very bold claims.

One day a food is labelled unhealthy, the next day it’s a “superfood”. One training method is declared the only way to exercise and then replaced by the next trend a few months later.

For many people, this constant stream of information makes health and fitness feel confusing and frustrating.

The How To: Fitness podcast exists to simplify that.

The goal is to explore exercise and nutrition topics in a way that is practical, grounded in evidence and relevant to real life.

Instead of chasing trends or quick fixes, the podcast focuses on understanding the principles that actually support long-term health and sustainable habits.

It’s about helping listeners feel more confident navigating the noise that surrounds fitness advice today.

Education, not just coaching

Coaching doesn’t stop at programmes.

I believe people deserve to understand their bodies, their training and their nutrition, not just follow instructions blindly. That’s why education is a core part of how I work.

I also host the How To: Fitness podcast, where I break down common myths, explore the evidence behind popular fitness trends and have honest conversations about our health (without the hype).
